Detailed Description:

Fused quartz sand and powder are produced by selecting high-quality fused quartz blocks according to customer requirements for grade and particle size. The blocks are processed through advanced and specialized mechanical crushing, sieving, iron removal, grinding, and other processes to produce qualified products such as segmented sand and powder, with adjustable and controllable particle size. The product features include: SiO2 ≥ 99.9%, low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, high insulation, high wear resistance, low coefficient of expansion, stable thermal conductivity, acid and alkali resistance, and high plasticity. It is mainly used for:

  1. Quartz nozzles, furnace linings, ramming materials, precision casting, and various refractory materials.

  2. Ceramic rollers, ceramic glazes, high-temperature ceramic pots, and special ceramics.

  3. Epoxy encapsulation materials, integrated electronic filling materials, copper-clad laminates, etc.

Quartz sand is composed of quartz particles obtained through crushing and processing of quartz stones. Quartz stone is a non-metallic mineral, a hard, wear-resistant, and chemically stable silicate mineral. Quartz sand is milky white or colorless and translucent, with a Mohs hardness of 7.

Quartz sand is an important industrial mineral raw material. It is not a chemical hazard and is widely used in industries such as glass, casting, ceramics, fire-resistant materials, smelting ferrosilicon, metallurgical fluxes, metallurgy, construction, chemicals, plastics, rubber, abrasives, and filter media.
